Behaviour while in the office

“Okay class because I promised you we will go for pe because it was raining last friday so we are doing” Said Miss Ashley whole of room 7 replied “ YAY!” Miss Ashley replied “but we are not playing invisible touch; Bullrush or Golden child because im bored of those games because you guys always want to play those games all the time so we are not playing those games” so we took a vote to want we are playing but miss ashley said we can play softball for 20 minutes and play 5 minutes of any games you guys want afterwards. 


We all went outside after lunch we also had to wait for 2 of our classmates (Waiari and Sumuree) to get the equipment for softball Miss Ashley called “year 6’s line up behind Syraiah-Lee and year 5’s behind Havea” Syraiah and Havea did rock paper scissors Havea won by using scissor because Syraiah used paper so Havea chose for year 5’s.

Editing made up story

Here is our edited story.
Things we learnt about were
We aren’t allowed to use then, and, also and because at the beginning of a sentence.
Speech marks go on the OUTSIDE of the full stop or other punctuation.
The end of a sentence can be marked by a full stop, an exclamation mark or a question mark. You don’t need to put an extra full stop after a question mark.
Remember to check ALL capital letters. Sometimes we need to put them in and sometimes we need to take them out.
On Monday 24th September 2018 Room 7 did a blindfold challenge. We wanted to have fun and make our morning a bit interesting by playing a game.

Firstly Miss Ashley told us the rules which was “no touching the tables or pieces of paper on the floor or you will lose points.“  However you are allowed to touch the chairs because you sometimes have to step over them to get to the end. Next we got into buddies. My buddy was Lucina.  We had to line up by the heater in our buddies.

First it was my turn to go so Lucina (my buddy)  put the blindfold on me (over my eyes) and helped me to stand up. The blindfold was tight it felt like a constrictor boa on my face. I felt so confused and disorientated because the blindfold was covering my eyes. Lucina told me to “go left, right, straight and step over.” I was feeling nervous and a little bit scared because “what if she was tricking me?“ and I was really doing something silly. I got to the end safely and took my blindfold off.

Next it was my buddies turn so I helped her put the blindfold on. I told her to walk straight first, then next turn left. She doesn’t know her lefts and rights so she went the wrong way.I said “no your other left” and it was a little bit funny. In the end we got to the blue fruit tray and we made it without losing any points!

I think I would like to do this activity again because it was cool to do something different and fun in class especially since it’s the end of the term and I think we are all feeling kind of tired.

PARAGRAPH 2: WHEN YOU WERE BLINDFOLDED
 Feelings: paralysed, nervous, scared, excited, sleepy, felt comfortable because I had done it before, trust my buddy??? Felt like i was going the wrong. Felt like a robot.
How did it feel to have a blindfold on?
Happened: lost points because we touched the paper/tables, fell over,
Banged into each other.
Table pushed me to the side
Furniture was like spikes in Fortnite.
Screaming like it was a justin bieber concert

Thursday 21st of September.

“Today we are playing the blindfold challenge everyone” said Miss Ashley, whole of room 7 replied “Okay Miss Ashley” with an excited voice Miss Ashley said “ okay this are the rules if you bump into a table you lose 2 points if you step on paper you lose 1 point but if you get up to chairs you won’t lose points because you get to use them to get to the end and touch the purple cardboard” room 7 replied “Okay we know all the rules now Miss Ashley”

All of room 7 got into buddies but because Havea didn't have anyone so me and Railey put him in our group because he is our friends so we wanted to be nice to him that’s why we put him our group, I was the first one in our group who went first I felt paralyzed and also blind while I had the blindfold on when Railey and Havea had their turn they felt the same as well.

Me and Havea had a hard time telling Railey where to go because he was kinda not listening to me and him because he went his own way but he did really good because I liked how thinked about what we said so he was a very good listener and followed instructions.


I was not paying a tenchin at all to Railey and I thought to myself “Am I being a good friend not listen to Railey” so after that I was being a good friend to Railey but he was happy that I did not touch anything to lose points for our team I was  happy that Railey and Havea made it to the end and made us have 30 points also that made our team win the game.

My favorite course was all of them because they were very easy they were a very cool team game so that made the whole of room 7 very happy and also extremely FUN! The easy one was the first because Miss Ashley made it easy for us to get past and make us get EXTREMELY EXCITED!

The Yoga Challenge

The Yoga Challenge 
On the 17th of september 2018 room 7 did yoga all of room 7 were split into groups of 2 also Miss Ashley told everyone in the class all the rules then after that we began.

On the first pose it was very easy so that got everyone Extremely pumped
up for other pose so we got to the second pose there was 12 poses the second pose got a little bit harder but we tried our best boys are rivals against girls I don't know why. We started to go on the third pose everyone said THAT’S EASY! But some people who said that is was easy it was hard for them it was easy for me because im flexible enough for this challenge (so in the story we got to find out why but it might not happen in this story).

we got on to the fourth pose it was easy for some of us but all of us. When you fall of that horse you get back on that horse to for fill that destiny to do the impossible so make that destiny happen everyone was doing great in pose 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 they were very helpful to people who need to exercise more in life.

The last pose was the hardest number 12 everyone tried their best but they fail also it would never work until Miss Ashley helped us but manly the girls me and my best friend Reign we were going to show the whole class but Miss Ashley told us sit down. Also my favorite was the 8th one because it was very funny also it was fun too there are more poses that are my favorite but I think pose 8 is my only favorite one that I like.

VOLCANOES

Volcano is a big mountain and it can erupt and it is full of lava and magma also smoke. The top of the head is some call ash clouds and the volcano there is lots of crust under the volcano and magma is so powerful and strong also it’s magma is so hot it will melt anything in it’s way like humans and other things.

Volcanoes are openings in the Earth's surface. When they are active they can let ash, gas and hot magma escape in sometimes violent and spectacular eruptions.

Volcanoes are the most violent thing in the WORLD! If you get stuck in a volcano you may have to waste all your energy just to call out for help but if you have friends you will be lucky because they will be a great friend to you just to make sure you will be safe and stay alive.

Volcanoes can be safe at times because they are dormant or extinct but if the earth starts to shake that means the volcano you are on it may be active at times so make sure that you are safe around the volcano that you are on or around.

Bad Intro:  Room 7 played the maths game. It was Thursday 14th September 2018. We were in the hall. We did it to practice our maths skills. We walked there and we were in teams. 
*notice how the information are all in separate sentences* - don’t do that, it’s boring to read.

On Thursday morning (the 14th September 2018), Room 7 walked out the to the hall to play the maths game. Room 7 plays this game so we can practice our maths skills and have a bit of a running around break.

Natural Disasters

Information report: natural disasters
Natural disasters are a phenomenon which occur all around the world. Some are caused by moving tectonic plates, some are caused by wind and air pressure, and some are caused by other natural disasters.

Volcanic Eruptions.
Volcanic eruptions are so dangerous they can kill anything and anyone, nobody should not be near a volcanic eruptions because they will die in a couple of seconds like the terminator did in the movies. 

Earthquakes.
Earthquakes can kill you if you fall into the crack that the tectonic plates make but people call them earthquakes instead so make sure that your country is not shaking because if that happens your dead so run if it happens.

Hurricanes, typhoons and cyclones.
Hurricanes,Typhoons and cyclones are all the same things but I think Hurricanes are bigger, faster also stronger but they all might be all the same strength speed even how big they are but I still think hurricanes are bigger.

Tsunamis.
Tsunamis are fast strong but when it uses all its power its strength get weaker and when it gets to that country or state it won't be strong but it will still make a big flood so people won't die things won't break.
Tornadoes
Tornadoes are big and strong but there not stronger and bigger than a hurricane might be slower than tornadoes.  Tornadoes can make you puke and make you very dizzy so watch out make sure you prepared.

Floods and drought.
Floods are very common when tsunamis come but floods might not happen if a tsunami comes it is because that tsunami had not much power. Droughts happen very often in places that don't have rain people die horrible deaths when there are droughts in that country.

Blizzards and Ground Blizzards.
A blizzard is a severe snowstorm characterized by strong sustained winds of at least 35 mph (56 km/h) and lasting for a prolonged period of time typically three hours or more. A ground blizzard is a weather condition where snow is not falling but loose snow on the ground is lifted and blown by strong wind.

Dust storm.
Dust storms are made from lightning bolts happen then strong winds come than make a big dust storm that goes really fast but when is settles all of it is done

Wildfire.
Wildfires are a man made natural disaster that can kill people burn land also devastate people also nobody likes that man made wildfire because it is very dangerous to human kind and animal kind.


Man-made and natural disasters can devastate people and the places we live in. Although we can’t predict most natural disasters, we can do our best to keep safe and look after our properties and things we value.

Museum Recount

Yesterday it was the 12th of September 2018, “Today is the day Cortezz and Railey” Leon said and Cortezz including Railey replied with a excited voice “ Yeah today is the day for us to go to the Museum!”

So Room 5,6,7,8 went to the hall to go to the Museum Mrs F gave a speech to everyone about the rules want we should not do at the Museum.

When we got to the Museum we got there first we just sat down then we had to wait there for a bit of time for the other classes. The people that work there told us all the rules so we all went in order it goes Room 5,6,7,8

First we went to the galleries so we looked at some old stuff there was like plates, chairs, pictures and other old stuff in the olden day after we went somewhere else

To the maori court we all like the maori court the was like lots of wakas and other cool stuff. After walking so much we went to the other pacific ones.

We went to the volcano place next with musical rocks that made music it was very fun after we were waiting for volcano thing to end for our turn to happen so we went in and everyone but not me and others did not scream like little girls we had more fun in there then all of the places we went to.
We went to the WW2&1 section next we heard guns noise that made us get scared so some of us said “AH!” with a terrified voice some of us was rushing so we went through the soldier court very quickly after a while we stopped for lunch.

We all went outside in order like the start to when we went to play after we had a feed we played some races I beat Davlyn who used to tie with me but that changed in 2018 in 2017 were the same but he beat me in the 100 meter race.

After that we went to the bus stayed there until we got at my school tamaki primary school or TPS we were at school and stayed until 3.00 pm then we all went home.

Tongan Language week

“Umm what should me and you play” havea said and replied “we can both play Bani or Fusi” But Havea went to go play fusi and I played Bani.
(Also yesterday it was the 5th of September 2018 and we were celebrating tongan language week so we played some tongan games) 

When I got there I went to play the real dodgeball there are to sides for the person that got out if that person gets you the person that got you gets to go out and play while you are out your goal is to get the person out. To get back in the game, I got so many people on my first try but then they got harder to hit and everytime I threw it went like swish so I tried my best to use my special move to get them more faster because when I used it will go very fast and get the person that is on the side I can be very good at these kind of games but sometimes I suck at games.

When I got in I did very good but sometime I missed but it was very cool to play that game I just manly just played that game but I played a little bit of tug of war I versed Michael and he cheated by pulling from the not to win so actually I won.
