Raranga Mathiko

My kaupapa is my Pepeha
On Thursday the 4th of April, we were visited by manuhiri from the Whare Pupuri Taonga, Whaea Waimiiria and Whaea Stacey were their names. They came to our kura Tamaki Primary to teach us where we came from like our tribes, who our chiefs were or anything that we did not know about ourselves they also came to teach us our pepeha, and we created it digitally. When we were at the Whare Pupuri Taonga we did different activities like Ao Mariko (Virtual Reality), Hākoritanga (Stop Motion), Karetao (Robot), Tinkercad, Peita 3D (paint 3d), Arai Kākariki (Green screen). Whaea Waimiiria then split us into two groups, one group went with Whaea Stacey and one group stayed with Whaea Waimiiria, and then after a while our two groups switched. It was morning tea, and we also begged Whaea Waimiiria if we can hear her voice and everyone was saying “please Whaea Waimiiria” because we all did not know what she sounded like when she sang. In the end, she said okay! We all heard her voice and it was beautiful. Then we had karakia for kai. At 2 in the afternoon, Whaea Waimiiria and Whaea Stacey left our kura to go back to the Whare Pupuri Taonga.

This page is t remember all those that have
passed away in Christchurch.

There is a universal truth we all have to face even if we want to or not, everything ends. I had never thought this day would come but it did and I don't like endings. There is a final page of the bible that god has ended for the people who had died. Today we say god still loves you and peace be with you.

By Jarrod
It’s so sad
Just to see someone that bad.
To kill someone that they don’t even know.
All they needed to do was grow.
You hurt me so badly.
That don’t even make you manly.
You think your strong
But actually you're wrong
I feel so sorry for the people that died.
And I cried.
They lost their lives
Just to see you strive
You're stuck in jail
All you can do is fail
You're making me mad
You're actually really sad
But god still loves you
All you need is love upon you.

By Leon
Why did you kill all those people they could of lived
having a AK by your side doesn't make you strong
you’re just wrong
because you’re like donkey kong
you ding dong.
tears came from my eyes
after all those people died
your just making me more mad
and sad in the inside
you don’t care about who you killed
you don’t even know them
so why did you kill them
for no reason
your not perfect you were never
You were just a fool you never were cool
no one even liked you

but god will always be within you.

Me as a learner, I was never really good at everything but at least I tried, and the more I tried, the more information I would learn, that’s why I enjoy maths. I’m really good at maths. I will face any challenges, and my only goal is to get more smarter then my friend Jarrod. I’m looking to achieve and learn more te reo, so I can speak more of my language, which is why I love te reo. The person who inspires me is my sister Paris                                                                                                                                                  because she is really good at blogging and                                                                                                everything that i'm not.

Modern Cars

Modern Cars

I'm going talk about all the latest car design like a famous Lamborghini and a famous Ferrari, i'm pretty sure that the fastest car is the Lamborghini or a different car in the world, like a T20 in GTA 5, the Benz Patent Motor Car company made the first automobile between 1885–1886 The first stationary gasoline engine was developed by Carl Benz who made a one-cylinder two-stroke unit which ran very impressively for the first time on New Year's Eve 1879. The definition of a Car is -a road Vehicle , typically with for wheels , Powered by an internal combustion engine , able to carry up to 4-5 people

Cars were comfortable to people but they weren't always safe for people because people have died in a car before here's information about it, in 2010, there were an estimated 5,419,000 crashes, 30,296 people died with fatalities, killing 32,999, and injuring 2,239,000.About 2,000 children under 16 die every year in traffic collisions. Records indicate that there were 3,613,732 motor vehicle fatalities in the United States from 1899 to 2013, we all need people to stop dying from cars because that person who might have died could be your own family member. But today we have created more safer and better structures for a car , nowadays people always get injured and maybe killed because they are either on their phone , drinking ,eating and even running red lights. If they just listen to the police and the advice people give, people will never get injured or killed ever again.

Breaks should be longer at school.

I'm absolutely certain that breaks should be longer so people have more time to play and hang out with their friends and so people can eat also finish there diet but people don't always want longer time to play because sometimes they get bored or they just don't want to play longer.

I’m absolutely certain that breaks should not be compulsory in school because heaps of people play to much and then teachers have all this work for you to do and the bell rings thats why i think that longer breaks should not be compulsory and because people will only want to play not learn at all that’s my reason.

Fidget spinners should/shouldn't be allowed in class.

I definitely disagree that fidget spinners should be compulsory so students can learn instead of focusing on the fidget spinners it makes people fidget with it because it says it straight in the title and it also causes distraction towards other people and will make everyone get it and our teacher will be mad cause of all the hard work and effort she put into it because everyone won't listen that's why i think fidget spinners should not be compulsory in school and in other classes. what will happen with the fidget spinner.

Fidget spinner should be allowed in class

Most people would agree that fidget spinners can/might be allowed in class when kids are bored they can play with it even when you have to play hand games you can play with it rather than just going on your netbook cause you will yell at your friends and go like share the game with me and all that kind of stuff that's why i think fidget spinners should be compulsory in class and people like getting entertained so fidget spinners will be the best thing to entertain the person what will you child do with the fidget spinner.

I hope you guys understand our reasoning i hope you people will not/will let it be compulsory so that you
