Me and my class had learnt about how to save and borrow money and how you get charged interest.
When you get charged interest it is because when you ask for money from the bank they will ask for a little bit more, but if you save your money and leave it in the bank they will do a little thank you and they will give interest to you also interest means they will give you money instead of you having to give them money. Saving money is good for you so you can get all the stuff you need and you should not spend your money on things you want.

You can actually set up your income for your bank so when you get paid your income goes straight to your bank account, did you know that if you don't pay stuff on time you will be put on a list of people who work at places look at that list and check it if your on it and if your on it, they won't trust you if you have to pay something off.

We learnt about a new game called Banqer from learning about this game we got better knowledge and so we can spend our money wisely, if you spend your money wisely you can be able to buy the things you need and what you want to do with it also it does not mean go spend your money on the first go, just try to save up for something you need.

On The Weekends

On the weekend, me and my mum and dad went to the gym at the Panmure lagoon pool.

First I went on the bike to work on my legs then I started working on my arms to get stronger for when I have to do my actions in Kapa Haka. When I started to get sore I stopped because I was working on my arms and chest for 30 minutes then for the rest of my time at the pools I just went for a swim.

When I got home I started playing Call Of Duty Modern Warfare and I kept dying so I just started playing the Campaign which is the storyline in the first part of the Campaign I was a Marine so technically I was a Amercian fighter in the game when I got bored I played roblox with my sisters and I went to sleep because I was very tired from watching too much youtube

The reason why I made Leonardo Dicaprio Iron man and our Poako Matua Punehu Thor was because I thought it looked cool in my own way also I thought our Poako Matua Punehu looked very Tumeke as Thor.

Leonardo Dicaprio actually looked like a very cool Iron man in my opinion.

What I did on my holiday

On Saturday my friend Caleb came over for a sleepover because we were already planning it all out and me and him were so excited to do the sleepover, his mother had brought Fish and Chips we were eating all of the Chips. When Caleb had his corn dog he asked if I wanted mine I said “Nah, you can have it” he was eating mine then my cat came up to Caleb and he was meowing so I knew he wanted some so I asked if Caleb was able to give him some but I did not know that my cat Midnight was gonna take the whole thing so he just ran off to eat it all.

We were playing Call of Duty Black Ops 3 and we were doing a lot of online multiplayer so we were able to get the mercenary contract I was the closest to it so we were playing more of it so I could get it, for me to get the mercenary contract I just need 3 more quarters to be done and get it and be Black-Jack.

So for some time me and Caleb were playing zombies on Shadows Of Evil also for some reason I was mainly the girl character Caleb was never the girl character so me and him keep laughing but atleast I was always the person who had the most points and kills out of everyone we played with.

So we got back to playing Multiplayer. while playing a game a guy named ScarletMOMO (that's how he spelt it) sent me a message and he wanted to know if I wanted to 1v1 so I asked him if my friend could join us, him being the nice guy he is he said sure so we were playing with him even though he was lagging the whole game he was still able to beat us so easily.    

While we were playing Caleb had to go since his dad came to pick him up so my sister Paris played with us and she said she was better than me but she got destroyed. That is one day of my holiday 

Our Bike Day

Yesterday me and my class Te Puna Wairua went out to the hall to do 2 songs then we went in the bikes also there was Milo, cookies and sausages, there was a bike where you have to keep pedaling to keep the music going the highest score I think that was reached by Mariah was 340 seconds? I don't remember I was mainly on the bikes for the most of my time that I was there for. When I got off the bike I did not know that everyone in my class left so I was the last one in Te Puna Wairua to leave. We all had to come back there was an assembly where we saw all the supporters that were able to give us the bikes. They were Mike greer homes in partnership with HLC, Tamaki Regeneration, Travel wise schools, Bikes in schools and Supported by BRM Cycles and Norco Bicycles.

My Toi Ataata art

WALT: I have learnt the importance of the Mangopare/Hammerhead shark

Me and my class choose their own different colours that they wanted and were able to make their art beautiful, everyone was able to make their art as nice as they wanted and expected to see with finishing touches we were able to make our art more macnificent.

It represents Mangopare it means Hammerhead shark, Hammerhead sharks fights until the death. We also learnt how to use different technects like smudging.

WALT: I know the Significance of Tukutuku panels and why Māori made them.

My class and I were doing some artwork that is Tukutuku panels, I used only 4 colours they were green like Tanemahuta, Red like Tumatauenga, Blue like Tangaroa and also Yellow like my school Tāmaki Primary.

The reasons why I used these different kinds its because my colours bloom like a star also the design I used was called the Double Poutama I chose it because I thought it looked nice,
The meaning of the Double Poutama represents when Taane o te wananga ascended to the top most realm in his quest for superior knowledge. 

My Mokomoko Art

My Mokomoko Art
Name for the Mokomoko: Māori Matarehu. The reason why I have chosen that name because it sounded cool like Atua Tawhirimatea(s) name.

WALT: I know why being a kaitiaki is so important to me.

Some time last term, we did an art about our Mokomoko and Tuatara with our reliever Whaea Ariana. She did the shape of a Mokomoko while we did the colouring in.

For my art I used green because of Papa-Tu-a-nuku and also I used blue because of Tangaroa. In other bits of my art I used black and red because of Tumatauenga (the red I used was fierce like Tumatauenga). In some places I used orange and yellow to make the mokomoko look like Ruaumoko and Haumiatiketike.

With the black and red for the background I tried to make it look like our Haki Tinorangatiratanga. When we did it, not everyone was finished in the first go, because everyone takes their time to colour because they don’t want to be rushed. But this term everyone was able to finish! I thought everyone did awesome!

Today Te Puna Wairua and I were learning about how to save our money and how to be a good borrower, also at the time on my table I had Milan, Havea, Lori, Tipene, Jordan and myself.

The pwc members names were Chanel and Mona, also another lady dropped by and helped Mona and Danielle, she was very kind, we had to do some scenario I was part of the first one and Tamehana was part of the second one. My table had so many good ideas and they were impressed but we never got chosen so we were kinda sad but at least we got to learn how to save our money and spend our money. Also they taught us how to be trustworthy and how to give the stuff you borrowed and make sure you give it back.

On the holiday

Team Unknown On the holidays I went to my rugby game. Most of the other team’s players could not make it for some reason so our team and there team had to split into 2 equal teams so it would be fair. Then every team were training for our match against each other then after awhile the match started. There were so much supporters some of them loved suburbs also some loved marist also my dad was a supporter of marist as well. While our team and the other team were verseing we got the first try then the Unknown team got more intense then because of Sammy there teammate did not run it up straight so that’s how he got a lot of tries for his team, one time my cousin Kenith tried to juick me but he almost did but I just leaned back in time and put my arm out then tackled him My dad was very proud of me because I tackled my cousin also he was manly proud of me because i got a try for the team after to when the game ended we sadly lost and they won but at least we all had fun.

My kaupapa is my Pepeha 
On Thursday the 4th of April, we were visited by manuhiri from the Whare Pupuri Taonga, Whaea Waimiiria and Whaea Stacey were their names. They came to our kura Tamaki Primary to teach us where we came from like our tribes, who our chiefs were or anything that we did not know about ourselves they also came to teach us our pepeha, and we created it digitally. When we were at the Whare Pupuri Taonga we did different activities like Ao Mariko (Virtual Reality), Hākoritanga (Stop Motion), Karetao (Robot), Tinkercad, Peita 3D (paint 3d), Arai Kākariki (Green screen). Whaea Waimiiria then split us into two groups, one group went with Whaea Stacey and one group stayed with Whaea Waimiiria, and then after a while our two groups switched. It was morning tea, and we also begged Whaea Waimiiria if we can hear her voice and everyone was saying “please Whaea Waimiiria” because we all did not know what she sounded like when she sang. In the end, she said okay! We all heard her voice and it was beautiful. Then we had karakia for kai. At 2 in the afternoon, Whaea Waimiiria and Whaea Stacey left our kura to go back to the Whare Pupuri Taonga.
