Thank you for the lovely presents that you got me. When I opened my presents, I was shocked because when I looked at them I was so happy.

I really appreciate the colouring kit, rugby ball, school bag and water bottle that I got from you santa. The things that I requested, you got it for me which were things I really needed for school.

Trees for survival

                    Trees for survival

Auckland should at least be covered with 40% of trees because if there are not enough trees we will have no oxygen. With trees we can have shelter so we can keep cool if any disaster happens. The trees will suck up carbon dioxide and turn it into oxygen so we can breath.  Trees also give us food so we don’t starve and trees also provide water, furniture and paper.

There is only 23.8% of our trees because the trees were getting cut down by Lumberjacks to make more homes. We understand because we know our country needs more house’s because some people are going home less. But everyone should know to plant more trees every year to keep safe. We need to look after trees so we can have lots of oxygen and save a future. So make it a habit of trees.

Math

There are 48 lollies that have to be placed evenly on each sixth of the cake. How many lollies will be there on each sixth of the cake?

There will be 8 lollies on each part of the cake because 48 divide by 6 = 8

Athletics day number 2

This is my recount on Athletics Day after receiving feedback from my peers.

“Yes I can't wait to race” I said when Ms Komor said may the 9 year old boys please go to the starting line so the 9 year old boys went up when we were running faster then the flash but Havea came first and I came second.  

After a while it was the 9 year old boys again when we were running I came first because Havea was in a different race but when the girls were finished the 9 year boys were going for there last race but I came 3.

After all of the races we all went home.

“On friday everyone was getting ready for athletics” so all, of us sat on the dots then when everyone was getting up for to do there cheers to there gazebos.

When everyone, got to there gazebos we were getting ready to do the field events the first one, that 9 & 8 year old kids did shot pot first it was, the 9 year old girls after it was the 8 year old girl.

After when every girl went the 8 year old boys went first after them the 9 year old boys went after we all, went to do the one that you have to jump over ,a steady iron pole when every girl went every boy went then we all walked to go to, long jump.

When we all did long jump, some of us were put to the finals that was me, Sosaia and Isaiah w,ere put to the finals then we all did the same but I did my a little bit far then Isaiah including Sosaia after that we all joged but some of us, walked to discus.

The teacher of discus only let six at a time to have their turns when everyone had there time we all went, to our gazebos when we all were finished our field events when everyone, was done we all went for morning tea for 15 mins.

When 15 mins ended it was time for racing time we had to, wait until the say your age when they got up to 9 year olds I had to go race,s all my best friends but when me was second with Havea we were trying to run like cheetahs but I came second Havea came first but I don't know who came third place but everyone that did not get a block that's tall, short or very short has to go back to their gazebos then we all had lunch then had a 15 min play after we finished.

We asked did everyone had their turn they said yes when everyone had their second and third turn it was time for the all around the track race including field for the normal races.

But me, Sosaia & Dezel were the only ones that did all of the all around the track including the track for the normal races but after we did all of the relays but for once one more helper came to help Joshua in the yellow but, we did not win any of the races because we did not have any seniors on our side. When school was finished we all went home.

Guy Fawke Day

When me my mum plus my dad and my sisters named Coralee, Paris, Paige.

We just came home from the car wash then after the car wash me my dad and my sister Paige plus my nephew Lebron Jordan.

My dad sneakingly took us to burger king to get some chocolate sundaes just for me Paige and my nephew.

Then when we got home before our mum with my to other sisters Coralee and Paris. Then after they finally came it was time for guy fawkes then we took our nitro pack full of different fire works and we started with the little fireworks to the bigger ones then after I saw some fireworks flying in the sky with a KAPOYA!!!!!! .

When we all got out we started the fireworks they were cool but after the big fireworks were coming in my mum and dad went back inside so we did all of the rest of the fireworks but I was happy about the fireworks but I keep smelling the smoke.

After my aunty uncle and my other uncle came at the ending time but we still did the fireworks after awhile we ended my aunty and uncles went home but we went inside our house.

My subject is lions. Lions inspire me because they are brave, fearless and leaders. Lions will try to protect their families because they will do anything for their family but they will risk their lives for them.
